Trivia

Did you know that the Nelsonville York High School Team colors were Brown and White until members of the high school senior class of 1977 (webmaster included) went before the board of education with a student body signed petition and requested that the color orange be added as a highlight to the team colors? The senior class of 1977  was the first to wear brown, white and orange tassels at graduation and us girls got to wear orange gowns. We also added orange to the yearbook cover that year and to the sports teams uniforms. Go N-Y Buckeyes!
