There is a cemetery named "Mt. Ephraim Cemetery" located in Aurelius Twp, Lower Salem, Ohio.

Ephraim Gould set up on a corner of his property a church and a cemetery.   The church is about two miles above Salem, dates from the earliest time when meetings were held from house to house in the neighborhood; and in the absence of any regular preacher, the farmers took turns at reading discourses from a book of Erskine's sermons.

In 1846 the little association felt able to afford a building which was erected on land given by Ephraim Gould.  In 1873 the present building was finished, and the old one is now used as a stable near by.

Is  it still there?  The church was viewed and photographed in 1997 by a cousin of mine. The picture showed it still in fairly good condition.  I would like more information about it.  So far no luck other than what I have just written.
