Connie Rhea Rowe - I have found my Green and Giddings family in the 1850 Washington County, Decatur Twp Census. I have my ggg grandfather's Civil War Records which have affidavits from a E.P. Dufur/Dufun/Dufus and a Jonah McGrin/McGin/McGim who state they lived in Little Hocking, Washington County. Based on their affidavits It's possible my Green/e family also lived in the same township possibly around 1840. The Green father is not listed on the 1850 census. Only the mother Nancy as head of household with children. Can someone tell me what township Little Hocking was or is in and does anyone have reference to the above names. They state they knew the Green and Giddings children since they were small children. I hope if I can find the Dufur/Dufun/Dufus or McGin/Mcgrin/McGim families it might lead me to the father Green's name. In the Green family the youngest son was born abt 1837 and the father disappeard before 1850. Hope someone can help me in this search.
